Master Blast - Upcoming Season Details

Welcome to all new and returning DCJCC participants and parents for another action-packed season of the Master Blast program! We have record numbers this season so thanks for signing up, we will do our very best to make sure we run a safe, enjoyable and dynamic program.

Please find attached (click this link to the document "dcjcc master blast schedule teams fixtures pc 2019.pdf") a summary document that explains all there is to know about the upcoming program in terms of the schedule, team allocations, fixtures, setup and parent information and requirements.

Please read through the document carefully, it will be organized chaos for the first few weeks until everyone gets the hang of the program, returning players and parents will already be familiar with the format.

One thing that has been tremendous in previous years is the parent participation. Although we coordinate the event and provide the environment, oval (Monyash Reserve), equipment and gear, the parents involvement and running of the games and activities is a crucial part of it (and more importantly, the kids love having mum and dad coaching and helping out).

Thanks to all the parents who have already offered their help to be a Blast Coach and/or Blast Helper for their team. We request that parents email the club on dcccjuniors@gmail.com, if you would like to be the coach or a helper this season, we require around 3 parents helping each team, each week. Obviously, the more helpers we get, the better the experience.

If you know the other parents from within your team, organize the coach and helpers between you, or do a rotation during the season to give everyone a go.

It is common for ALL the parents to assist when we get the games going as it is a lot of fun and only goes for less than an hour. The more parents that help, the better the experience is for all.

The initial schedule is as follows;
